Ermak Gordey aka Stereotype was born in 1989, in Chernigov (Ukraine). In 2006 his friend showed him some Drum’n'Bass music, after that Gordey was influensed by d’n'b. In 2007 he started to produce his own tunes. He learned some programs, experimented with sub genres of d’n'b, and finaly fond his style! It was Techno-Dnb!
In 2008 Stereotype released few of his tunes for free with such labels as Tilt(T-FREE), Anxiety Disorder, Subculture and Russian Future 13. After few collaborations with Russian producer from Penza SFS, they were signed with Ukrainian label MindOutside, and came with digital EP “Destruction Times”. Later he made 2 collaborations with Polish producer Structural, which were signed with Melting Pot and Tilt(T-FILES). After this Gordey had few digital releases with Future 13.
Since 2009 Stereotype’s sound moves to deep/minimal techno-dnb with phat neurophunk basslines, but still with high energy grooves.
Nowadays Stereotype has supports from many labels,producers and dj’s all over the world. He has few forthcoming vinyl releases (Intrasigent,Ennex,Metafiziq,Bully) and many digital releases (Future 13,Culture Assault,Black Reign LTD,Brainknock,Metafiziq).
